Apple tree Glogerovka: photo of the variety
The Glogerovka apple tree has great vigor and reaches a fairly large size. In this case, the branches droop a little and have a tendency to thicken. The main branches are uneven. They can wriggle, have a rough surface and a gray tint. The rest of the shoots are quite small in diameter, straight and brown in color. Sometimes pubescence can be seen.
The leaves of the Glogerovka apple variety are of average size, even slightly less than average. The surface is covered with pile. The leaf shape is wedge-shaped. The edge is wavy and serrated on all sides. Like the leaves, the petiole is pubescent here and its shade is not pronounced.
Apple tree Glogerovka: description of fruits
The fruits of the Glogerovka apple variety are of average size. If the harvest is large, then the apples are small. The shape of the fruit resembles a cone or barrel. No ribs are observed here. The color of the peel is light yellow, but from the side exposed to the sun, it has a blurred pink blush. Each fruit is attached with a thin, curved stalk. The pulp tastes a lot of juice, very tender and sweet. Also, the pulp is characterized by a pleasant pronounced aroma.
The fruits from the Glogerovka apple tree can be harvested in early autumn. At the same time, when stored in the refrigerator, they can retain their external and taste properties until mid-winter. Usually apples are consumed both fresh and used for making juice and dried fruits.
Apple tree Glogerovka: features of the variety
Glogerovka apple trees begin to bear fruit early and consistently yield a large amount of yield, which increases as the tree grows. When the harvest reaches its peak, the apples become small.
The tree has an average resistance to frost, therefore, it is not suitable for growing in the northern strip of Russia, as well as in those regions that are characterized by severe winters. In addition, the culture can be affected by scab or powdery mildew.
The Glogerovka apple tree has a compact size, fast ripening of fruits, abundant harvest and good external and taste properties. Therefore, the culture can take pride of place among the crops grown.
However, it should be borne in mind that the tree does not tolerate frost well, and during cultivation it is necessary to stably treat the plant for preventive purposes against various fungal diseases.
