Requirements for "wine" grapes
Just for wine, special varieties are grown, which must meet certain requirements: The berries must be large, in a bunch of grapes they must be located tightly to each other. The weight of one brush should not be less than 120 g. Berries must contain at least 80% juice by weight of the berry. And the sugar content should be above 18%. Wine grape varieties should always bear fruit well, have strong immunity to various diseases and pests. Adapt well to weather conditions.

Here are the grape varieties that fit all the criteria for making wine:
Chardonnay - wine from this variety has different flavor notes and has a pleasant fruity aroma.
Bianca - This wine has a taste with hints of vanilla and almond. And since this variety is cloyingly sweet, it is blended with the juice of another grape variety, which does not contain as much sugar.
Muscat is one of the most ancient grape varieties, which accumulates up to 25% sugar content and up to 7% acidity.
Sauvignon Blanc - this variety was obtained by crossing the other two, and received the optimal size of sugar content and acidity. But the main feature of this grape variety is that it must be harvested and used on time, if it is overripe, it loses all its taste and is no longer suitable for wine.
Riesling is the King of winemaking. Only high-quality wines are made from it, due to its high taste, notes and shades that are inherent in it.
Pinot Blanc - This grape variety is used for sparkling and dessert wines, because it has an exquisite, multifaceted taste.
Pinot noir is a black grape that gives a colorless juice, it has a balanced amount of sugar and acidity.
Saperavi is an old Georgian variety with dark blue berries. They begin to harvest it already at the end of September. There are many seeds in the berry of this variety, but this minus is nothing compared to the juiciness and taste of its berries.
Cabernet Sauvignon - the berries of this variety have a balanced composition of acidity and sucrose, and its peculiarity is that the berries are shaded by the taste and notes of black currant. The berries are dark blue and can be transported well.
Cabernet Franc - the berries of this variety have hints of raspberries and blackberries. And although this variety does not have a very high yield, it is very valuable due to its peculiarity of taste.
Merlot is a French cross-breeding variety. It has dark blue large berries with a hint of nightshade.
Sangiovese - This variety has large dark blue berries that give off different notes that add sophistication to the drinks.
Syrah - this variety is frost-resistant, and to the heat too. The dark blue berries have a very pleasant aroma, although this variety is not high-yielding, it is still very much in demand.
Carmenere - the bushes of this variety are simply huge, and the berries of a beautiful, dark purple color have a very sweet taste, in which there is absolutely no cloying. Wine from this variety can be of any shade, from pink to dark.
Mourvèdre is a Spanish variety with dark blue berries. The sweet and tart taste of wine from this variety cannot be imitated, it is not possible to confuse it with any other.
Grenache - this variety is very thermophilic, it tolerates drought and heat very well. The berries are dark blue with ruby juice inside. There is practically no acid in this variety, which distinguishes it from others.
Although our people have adapted to making homemade wine from any variety, there are a lot of ways to do this. But only these varieties are suitable for the production of real, exquisite wine.
