Cherry Rubinovaya Nikitina was created by a group of scientists from the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Geology and the SPR named after V.I. I.V. Michurin. The new variety was obtained by hybridization of the Leningradskaya Krasnaya and Zolotaya Loshitskaya varieties of sweet cherries. The most favorable area for the growth and fruiting of the cherry variety Rubinovaya Nikitina is central and black earth Russia.
Cherry Rubinovaya Nikitina: variety description and characteristics
The Rubinovaya Nikitina apple tree is fast-growing and grows tall with a pyramidal crown and characteristic tiers of branching. Young branches in one season grow of medium size, have a brown color and noticeable axillary buds, which are tightly pressed against the branches and have a conical shape, rounded ends and brown color.
The leaf plates are medium with small serrations at the edges, elongated-oval and green in color. The petiole is medium, also green in color. Stipules are not large. But the flowers are large, with white petals and oval. Anthers are located slightly below the stigma of the pistil.
Features of the variety
The fruits of the Rubinovaya Nikitina apple variety are dark red in color, round in shape, without a depression at the base and with a wide funnel, with a small abdominal seam. The average weight of one fruit is 4 grams. The peduncle is rather thick, of medium length and easily detaches from the branches, as well as from the fruit. The pulp is sweet, juicy, delicate in taste, rich in red. The fruit stone is small, up to 0.5 grams, easily separates from the pulp.
The apple variety Rubinovaya Nikitina contains dry substances - up to 20%, sugar - up to 20%, titratable acids - up to 1%, P-active catechins up to 350 mg per 100 grams, ascorbic acid - up to 9 mg per 100 grams.

Apple variety Rubinovaya Nikitina belongs to early and partially self-fertile. The seedling should bear fruit in the fifth or sixth year after planting in the garden. The variety is resistant to low temperatures, this applies to the tree, shoots and all types of buds that are resistant to spring frost.
Also tolerates high temperatures and long absence of moisture. Does not require additional maintenance, except for annual sanitary pruning and common to all varieties of sweet cherries.
The Rubinovaya Nikitina apple variety is high-yielding, versatile for processing purposes, with good transportability. In addition, it has strong immunity against most insect pests and diseases.
