The Stavropol Horticultural Experimental Station bred a new variety Cherry Golubushka by crossing two popular varieties Zhabule and Denissen. Under the strict guidance of the authors A.I. Seredenko and V.V.Starykh. At the beginning of 2000, there was a zoning of the variety on the territory of the North Caucasus region.

A medium-sized sweet cherry tree Golubushka with the formation of a crown in the form of a wide pyramid, a slight upward rise of the branches, a thickening of the average. Chemical and biological composition of fruits: acids make up 0.62%, dry matter almost 15.9%, sugar composition up to 13.9%. Good transport resistance. The variety is intended for universal use.
Sweet cherry Golubushka belongs to self-fertile varieties with medium flowering times. The most optimal pollinators for Golubushka will be Franz Joseph, Etok Beauty, Dybera black, this combination leads to the formation of an early ripe harvest. At 4 years old, the tree is able to enter the time of full-fledged fruiting, the report is from planting to the immediate place of cultivation. A very high-quality yield was noted when the tree reached 8 years old, almost 40 kilograms of berries from each tree.
The increased resistance of the sweet cherry Golubushka to the cold winters of not only the tree, but also the fruit bud has been declared and tested.
