The creator of this work was the Research Institute of Genetics and Fruit Plant Breeding named after IV Michurin. The co-authorship was shared by the famous scientists breeders GG Nikiforova, IN Zolotukhina, BL Nikitin. In 1998, the zoning of the Leningrad sweet cherry variety Desertnaya began on the territory of the Central Black Earth Region.
